North Dorset Stage and Sound is all about giving you value for money for your event.
We are a small company who specialise in the small to medium size festivals and events. We have a 6x6m stage, PA and lighting equipment and everything you need to run the stage and music side of your event.
Maybe you have a charity event, music festival or an event that requires a stage but you only have a small budget. You may want to book your music acts but need someone to provide the stage, PA equipment and lighting and manage the running of the music side then we can do this. We can even recommend some bands and music acts for you. We won’t even take large deposits from you when you book as we understand cash flow can be an issue with small events. We can work with you on all your needs.

Maybe you just want a couple of small PA speakers for some speeches at a wedding or to play some music at a private party.

We like to give the personal touch and we are very flexible to meet your requirements and are very happy to discuss this with you.

We only have one stage and our new stage for 2026 (pictured above) is a brand New LUMEX ARCUM X36 6m x 6m capable of taking large bands or choirs.

Our stage is Large enough to leave a good impression but small enough so it doesn’t take up to much space. We will have a 2m x2m drum riser available at no extra cost to raise the drummer of any band up for a better look. Also an option to have banners either side of the stage to personalise your event.
The new stage is quicker for us to errect taking around 1 hour only. Also it is less of an issue in windy conditions as it can be de rigged quickly. It comes complete with water resistant sides and steps for access.
